Resident earns rank of Eagle Scout at 15

Kevin Kieselbach, 15, recently received his Eagle Scout rank at an Eagle Court of Honor held at Paul's Italian Villa, Simi Valley.

Brian Glassman, former Scoutmaster, presented the award, and Scoutmaster Mike Gulotta presided over the ceremony

Kevin is a member of Boy Scout Troop 622, sponsored by Simi Sunrise Rotary Club. He joined Cub Scouts in 1999 and bridged to Boy Scouts in 2003.

His leadership roles include knots and lashing instructor, troop guide, patrol leader and assistant senior patrol leader. He is a member of Order of the Arrow and has earned 43 merit badges.

Kevin is a student at Simi Valley High School and the son of Dave and Renee Kieselbach.
