Outdoor film viewings offered throughout summer

•"Charlotte's Web" will be shown as the free "dive in" movie from 6 to 10 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, July 28, at Rancho Simi Community Park Pool, 1765 Royal Ave. Patrons can watch the movie while swimming or bring a blanket and sit on the grass. •Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District will present a free "Family Night" from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at Rancho Simi Community Park Pool. Activities include music, swimming, food and games. •The park district will screen a family movie outdoors, the animated "Arthur and the Invisibles," Friday, Aug. 17 at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Ave., Simi Valley. Admission is free.

The film will be shown on a new 24-inch inflatable screen and will begin around 8 p.m., depending on sunset. Viewers may bring dinner, snacks and lawn seating.

The district is also offering free Music in the Park concerts from 6 to 8 p.m. •The Surf City All Stars, a Beach Boys tribute, will be Saturday, Aug. 11 at Oak Canyon Community Park, 1000 Kanan Road, Oak Park. •Dean Simmons, a Garth Brooks tribute, will be Saturday, Aug. 18 on the grassy area next to the lagoon at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Ave., Simi Valley.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets or low chairs for seating, and a picnic dinner. Room for dancing will be provided.
