Stroller fitness program offering free class

Simi Valley Stroller Strides will host a grand reopening on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at the Rancho Madera Community Park in Wood Ranch, 556 Lake Park Drive, Simi Valley.

Registration will be from 8:30 to 9 a.m., with a Stroller Strides class from 9 to 10 a.m. and event activities from 10 to noon.

All activities are free.

The grand opening party will include a free class, raffles, refreshments, goodie bags, moon bounce, fundraiser and a free certified car seat installation and check.

Stroller Strides is a fitness program for new moms. Classes offer a stroller workout that combines power walking and intervals of body toning using the stroller, the environment and exercise tubing.

In addition to the classes, Stroller Strides offers Luna Moms Club with play group activities and monthly Mom's Nights Out.
