Fed up with overgrowth at the Yosemite onramp

The Yosemite interchange has to be the ugliest sight for someone to see entering Simi Valley.

This interchange is habitually overrun with weeds. Native flowers are okay but not in this sense.

Now it's gotten to the point when one enters the freeway on the northeast ramp heading west, the weeds actually scrape the side of one's car if you drive in the right lane.

In addition, these acres of weeds are ripe for someone's cigarette tossed out of a vehicle, so it's a distinct fire hazard.

Those of us who use this ramp regularly hope that this freeway construction will alleviate the unsightly weed problem and make Yosemite an interchange that we can all be proud of. Walt Spellmeyer Simi Valley
