Scholarship funding workshop open

National College Planners will present free workshops on how to get thousands of dollars for a child's college education at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, July 7 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road; and 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 9 at the Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.

Discussion topics include how to send youth to the school of their dreams without going broke, how to triple aid eligibility, how to find scholarships and grants, and how to avoid the increasing prevalence of college scholarship scams. Admission is free, but seating is limited.
