Get your pet vaccinated for rabies

The Department of Animal Regulation, in conjunction with the Ventura County Veterinary Medical Association, will offer a low-cost rabies vaccination clinic at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 at the fire station, 1910 Church Road, Simi Valley.

The cost per shot is $5, cash only.

All dogs 4 years and older must be vaccinated against rabies and licensed as required by state law and county ordinance.

A rabies certificate is required when licensing animals.
