Cyclist robbed at knife point

A bicyclist was robbed and stabbed around 10 p.m. June 21on Hubbard Street.

Juan Carlos Feria-Velasquez, 22, was riding home on his bicycle when he was confronted by two men.

One of the men knocked him off his bike while the other jumped on top of him, placed a knife to his neck and demanded his money, according to a police report. After FeriaVelasquez gave them his wallet with $200 in it, he was stabbed below his ribcage before the thieves drove away in a car described as a black, compact four-door sedan.

FeriaVelazquez was admitted to Simi Valley Hospital for treatment.

The men were described as Hispanic and about 20 years old. One of them is 5-foot-9, 250 pounds and was wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black bandana on his head. The other is 5-foot-1, 120 pounds and was wearing dark clothing.
