A 32-year-old female was charged with possession of a controlled substance on June 20 when she was arrested in the 1500 block of Los Angeles Avenue. A burglary was reported in the 600 block of Easy Street on June 20. An estimated $7,200 worth of jewelry was reported stolen.

Ventura County grand jury panel selected
      Thirty Ventura County residents have been nominated to the grand jury panel, from which will be selected the 19 members of the 2007-08 grand jury. The final selection of grand jurors will be made during a special session of the Superior Court at 3 p.m. Monday, July 2 in courtroom 22.
