Here's How: 1. Send a color print depicting scenery, people and the front page of any edition of the Simi Valley Acorn. 2. Tape a 3X5 card on the back describing the location, names of people (left to right), and the name, address and phone number of the entrant. 3. For digital photos, please e-mail the original file from your camera saved as a jpeg (include info as above) to: vacation@theacorn.com. 4. Mail entries to: Take Your Acorn On Vacation, Simi Valley Acorn, 2660 Townsgate Road, Suite 760, Thousand Oaks, CA 91361-5702. 5. Many photographs (including most non-winners) will be printed in the Simi Valley Acorn. Photos cannot be returned.
FORTRESS- Lee and Karen Lorenze of Simi Valley pose with their newspaper at Devil's Island in French Guyana. The site was a prison island for more than 100 years. The Lorenzes only visited and didn't stay in the jail.

GO TEAM- Jules and Lori Griggs of Simi Valley go to the Pro-Bowl at Aloha Stadium on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. With them is their son, Joey, and niece, Faith Canfield of Garden Grove.
NARROW CHANNEL- Dena and Dale Kauffman of Simi Valley cruise with friends aboard the Coral Princess. The ship was traveling through the Miraflores locks of the Panama Canal.
HITTIN' THE HIGH SEAS- Simi Valley resident Carol Thomaier joins her cousins Sandy Thomaier, also of Simi Valley, and Kathy Peterson of New Hampshire, on a Caribbean cruise to Belize and Cozumel.
HIGH CLASS TRAVEL- Frank Haverstock of Simi Valley takes his Simi Valley Acorn to the Barcelo, a 5-star resort in Montelimar, Nicaragua.
