Julia Otero

For more than a decade Julia Otero has been an award-winning real estate professional serving Ventura County. In March, Otero was selected to be the featured agent for Broker Agent Magazine.

Chosen from active Realtors in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties, she was informed that the committee had evaluated her based upon some very rigid standards. Otero's husband of 27 years, Paul, has recently joined her in real estate to help better serve their clients. They were awarded Prudential's Chairman's Circle Gold for their production in 2006, which places them in the top 3 percent nationwide out of Prudential Real Estate's network of more than 68,000 sales professionals. They also won the Gibraltar Circle Award, which ranks them among the top 20 agents of Prudential California Realty.

Three generations of Otero's family are agents in Prudential California Realty's Camarillo office. She is proud of her daughter Domonique OteroRodriguez, and her parents Don and Dolores Perea have also joined them there. The Oteros have called Ventura County home since 1989.
