Yuck it up at Simi's new comedy club

Simi Valley restaurant Coco D'Amour will be the home of J.R.'s Comedy Club every Saturday night at 9 p.m. starting June 2. Seating for dinner starts at 7:30 p.m., and seating for the show starts at 8:30.

The cost is a $12 cover charge and a two-item minimum of food or drink.

The dinner show special is $29.99 for dinner and the show.

J.R.'s Comedy Club, established nine years ago in Valencia, will bring the best comedians in the country to Simi Valley.

These comics have been on HBO, Comedy Central, Showtime, the KLOS 5 O'Clock Funnies, movies and sitcoms. The shows will never be raunchy.

The nights are hosted by comedian Randy Lubas, aka J.R., and comedian Nehl Bobal. Lubas will also be the headlining act opening night.

The club can be rented for adults to celebrate birthdays, office parties, bachelorette parties or any occasion.

Coco D'Amour is at 2321 Tapo St., Simi Valley.

The restaurant offers free parking and a menu of international cuisine.

Comedian Pete George will perform on June 9.
