Simi pays homage to those who sacrificed

JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers DAY TO REMEMBER- Three local Boy Scouts, each standing at attention, look out over the crowd at Simi Valley Pioneer Cemetery shortly before the city's annual Memorial Day program. The ceremony, which began at 10 a.m., was delayed briefly after one of the Scouts fell and hit his head. Fortunately for the young boy, medical personnel were onhand to tend to his injuries and emergency personnel crew arrived in a short time. He was quickly patched up and the program resumed.
