Committee positions open

Applications are being accepted to fill four positions on the city of Simi Valley's Americans with Disabilities Act Paratransit Advisory Committee.

Deadline for submission is 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 12.

The positions to be filled are three members and one alternate. The two-year terms begin July 1.

Applicants must be city residents age 18 or older. They must also either have a certified disability, regularly use the city's paratransit/dial-a-ride service, live in a household with a regular user of the service or be actively associated with a public or private agency that provides services to the disabled.

The committee meets quarterly to review public paratransit issues.
