JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers YOUNG ARTIST- Simi Valley resident Mikayla Giardino, 4, paints cardboard city "Box Town" during the Stand for Children Day Party in the Park at Conejo Creek Park North in Thousand Oaks on Sunday. The event, hosted by the Conejo Valley Day Care Association and Conejo Recreation and Park District featured face painting, a rock-climbing wall, train rides and a wildlife show.
