Residents are invited to participate in the following volunteer opportunities in the area.

+Haven Hills needs volunteer advocates to staff the crisis line, assist with children's programming, accompany clients to court proceedings, help with fundraising events, work on the Domestic Abuse Response Team, help at community workshops and assist in other capacities.

Most volunteers contribute between two to five hours per week; others participate on a monthly basis.

Haven Hills is a nonprofit agency in the San Fernando Valley working to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing services to victims and survivors of abuse as well as educating the community.

+Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks seeks volunteer docents to lead educational tours for three hours per week. Training is provided.
