Panel will discuss quality of life in Ventura County

A panel of speakers will discuss quality of life issues in Ventura County at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 22 in the Lundring Events Center at California Lutheran University.

During the breakfast event, the 2007 edition of the Ventura County Civic Alliance's State of the Region Report will be unveiled and some of the information it contains will be presented.

David Maron, chair of the alliance, will moderate.

A panel discussion focusing on the environment, social equity and economic issues in the county will be held following the report presentations.

The cost for the event is $25, which includes a copy of the report.

The presentation is a joint effort by the alliance and CLU's Alma and Clifford Pearson Distinguished Speakers Series in the Center for Leadership and Values.
