Moorpark College presents 2007 graduating class

Moorpark College hosted commencement exercises on May 15 on the Campus Center Quad. The 2006-07 graduating class has 1,170 students- 627 females and 543 males. Current semester graduates number 706, with 276 having already graduated in the fall. At the end of the 2006 summer session, 188 students graduated.

Students with grade point averages of 3.5 or higher number 248.

Moorpark: Laurie L. Dipietro. Oak Park: Suzanne Viselman.

Simi Valley: Sabitha Chanduri, Josh R. Madrigal, Yeny A. Sandoval, David M. Stengel and Kayla Wight.

Thousand Oaks: Sarah H. Muliadi, Carolyn A. Scharf, Katherine A. Sinnett-Smith and Caitlin M. Wise.

This year 103 students earned more than one degree, with 43 of those students earning three or more degrees. Most graduates earned an associate of arts or science degree.

Certificates of achievement in occupational programs were awarded to 86 students.
