Volleyball playoffs have arrived

The CIFSouthern Section Division I volleyball playoffs begin tonight for both Simi Valley and Royal high schools.

The Pioneers, the Marmonte League's No. 3 seed, open on the road against Peninsula, the No. 2 seed from the Bay League.

Royal, which qualified as the fourth seed from the Marmonte, travels to play at Loyola. Loyola finished second in the Mission League.

Both contests are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
