Open air concert at Simi Town Center

Simi Valley Town Center will present several months of free outdoor musical performances.

Every Saturday in May, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Bob Couto's sixpiece jazz band will perform, along with Festivo featuring Larry Rousseve in either a threepiece or six-piece configuration. Each show is in the food court.

Festivo plays salsa, chaca, flamenco rumba and Latin dance music on a variety of instruments.

Festivo, The Late Night Big Band and Bob Couto's Swing Band will perform every Thursday and Saturday from June 7 to Sept. 8. Thursday performances will be in center court, with Saturday shows in the food court. VinoJazz Festival will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. This is a music, food and wine festival to benefit the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation.
