Super Suppers offers families convenient meal options

Super Suppers of Simi Valley will open tomorrow, Saturday, May 5, in the Simi Valley Plaza.

The store is owned and operated by Cimberli Tadeo and Emmy Sundeen of Simi Valley.

Super Suppers is a studio kitchen where customers assemble up to a month's worth of family sized entrees during a twohour session.

Customers choose between 12 menu options that change monthly.

Entrees have zero trans fat, and nutritional information is available online for every recipe.

Tadeo and Sundeen do the shopping and function as top line souschefs to prepare the ingredients in advance.

Customers sign up for a session or attend a walk-in-day where no appointment is necessary.

During the sessions, customers rotate through organized prep stations, following step-by-step recipes to assemble entrees to their tastes. Complimentary refreshments and appetizers are available. Customers leave with six or 12 entrees, each containing up to six servings.

The entrees are stored in a home refrigerator or freezer to be thawed and cooked at the customer's convenience.

"We are so pleased to offer this exciting concept to residents in Simi/Moorpark," Tadeo said. "Super Suppers offers a fresh solution that not only helps families avoid fast food and eat healthier, but with an average cost of around $3 per serving, save them time and money, too. And because we are the only meal assembly company in the industry that is part of an established culinary school, Super Suppers customers can count on delicious, unique dishes the whole family will love."

Also, orders may be placed on the company website for later pick up. Pre-assembled entrees, sides and desserts are available in the Grab 'n Go freezer for faster service.

A selection of entrees is available on the Curbside-To-Go menu. Call the store, place the order, pull up to the curb outside the store at an agreed-upon time, and the order will be brought to the car.

Super Suppers is also available for groups, private parties and corporate events.

The cuisine is developed by Super Suppers founder Chef Judie Byrd and her staff of professional chefs headquartered at the Culinary School of Fort Worth. All foods are taste-tested and quality-tested.

Super Suppers has been featured in a variety of national magazines and has more than 190 locations now open in most states.
