Strawberry Festival announces '07 lineup
The entertainment is set for the 24th annual California Strawberry Festival which takes place from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and 20 at Strawberry Meadows of College Park, 3250 S. Rose Ave., Oxnard.
The Oxnard High School marching band will play each morning when the gates open. In addition there will be two stages featuring a variety of musical performers, including rhythm and blues with Jeanne Tatum and Company, diva pop by Jacqui, classic rock performed by Skinny Little Twits, Raymond Michael's Elvis tribute and zydeco from Acadiana.
Admission to the festival is $12 for adults, $8 for seniors age 63 and up, active military and their dependents with ID, $5 for children ages 5 to 12. Youths 4 and under are admitted free.
A free shuttle will be provided from locations off the 101 Freeway and from the Oxnard Transportation Center. On-site parking is free.
