Baskin-Robbins offers 31-cent scoops

Local participating BaskinRobbins stores will offer a special 31 Cent Scoop Night celebration from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 2.

At this time, customers can choose any flavor and pay 31 cents plus tax for a 2.5-ounce scoop of ice cream.

Along with the reduced price to consumers, Baskin-Robbins will also donate $100,000 to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, which sponsors the "Everyone Goes Home" program to help prevent firefighting line-of-duty deaths and injuries.

Participating stores include 5697 Kanan Road in Agoura Hills, 2823 Agoura Road in Westlake Village, 1404 N. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks, 2389 Michael Drive in Newbury Park, 557 W. Los Angeles Ave. in Moorpark, 1720 E. Los Angeles Ave. in Simi Valley,. and 738 Arneill Road, Camarillo.
