Free consultations available on senior issues

The Ventura County Area Agency on Aging, in partnership with the city of Simi Valley, offers free information and assistance consultation services for local seniors and their families from 8 a.m. to noon Mondays and Thursdays at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

A counselor is available for private assessments and to discuss long-term care options, finding caregivers, signs of elder abuse, information about support groups, home safety issues and other senior services.
