Habitat to conduct housing workshop tomorrow
Membership required of those hoping to move into future homes

Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County will conduct a homeownership workshop at noon tomorrow, Saturday, April 21, at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 Los Angeles Ave.

Attendance at the workshop is mandatory for an opportunity to help build and own one of three detached homes near the southeast corner of Royal and Sequoia avenues in Simi Valley.

The homes are targeted for very-low-income families living in substandard conditions.

Persons interested in obtaining one of these homes are required to bring to the workshop Social Security information for each household member, 2006 W-2 forms for each household member over age 18 and documentation of all sources of income.

Fliers with additional information in both English and Spanish are posted at City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road and the Development Services Building at 3855A Alamo St.

For more information, call Habitat for Humanity at (805) 485-6065.
