Inaugural class inducted into National Honor Society at GBHS

Grace Brethren High School hosted its first induction ceremony for a new chapter of the National Honor Society.

Thirteen students were accepted and inducted into the society in a ceremony in the Cafetorium. A reception for the students, their parents and the faculty was held in the library following the ceremony.

Chapter advisors Scott Nandor and Marc Koster conducted the induction.

Inducted were senior Landon Beck; juniors Katherine Cary, Kristina Gourely, Garrett Henry, Lauren Hoffman, Yoora Kim, Jeffrey Ostrich, and Kristin Stemke; and sophomores Emilie Carroll, Rachel Forbat, Stephanie Leonard, David Losie and Megan Woodard.

The National Honor Society was established to recognize outstanding high school students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character.
