County science fair in search of judges

Professionals in the sciences are needed to volunteer as judges for the 2007 Ventura County Science Fair April 17 to 19 at Seaside Park in Ventura.

Nearly 1,000 students from throughout Ventura County, grades six through 12, will enter their projects in the 53rd annual fair.

The judging portion of the fair will be held on April 18, beginning at 8 a.m. with a continental breakfast and orientation. Lunch also will be provided, and the day's activities will end at about 4 p.m.

Judges are needed a variety of categories.
