Way to go

In March, the girls of room 3A at Heschel West school delivered hundreds of stuffed animals and pajamas to the Ventura County Human Services Agency in Simi Valley to be distributed to children living in local shelters and foster care.

Heschel West is a Jewish day school in Agoura Hills

According to Suzan Huntington, the school's director of development, the project was the idea of third-graders Jenna Lorin, Emily Harari and Loren ShemTov.

Huntington said the girls wanted to do something to help local children in need, and that the entire school was motivated to join in the effort.
