Senior Center will present crafts fair next weekend

The Simi Valley Senior Center will hold its Spring Arts & Crafts Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 30 and 31 at 3900 Avenida Simi. Money raised will benefit senior programs.

Items for sale include jewelry, wood sculptures, pottery, needle crafts and other items seniors have made during the year. The Simi Valley Council on Aging will sell homebaked goods and hold a rummage sale.

From 8 to 11 a.m. on the Saturday of the fair, the council and the Rotary Club of Simi Valley Noontimers will sponsor an allyou-can-eat pancake breakfast at the center.

Tickets are $4 and can be bought in advance at the senior center or at the door. Proceeds will benefit the Simi Valley Meals on Wheels program, which provides meals to homebound seniors. For more information, call (805) 583-6363.
