Acorn voice gets a little louder

In an effort to keep up with the paper's growing size and readership, the publishers of the Simi Valley Acorn have decided to print an additional 5,000 papers each week to reach the people of Simi Valley- raising the paper's total circulation from 28,500 to 33,500.

Acorn publisher Jim Rule said the circulation increase- the first since the paper's 2004 inception- will not only fill the distribution gaps in the Simi Valley home delivery it will make for a stronger readership base.

"We are pleased the community has accepted the Simi Valley Acorn as their hometown newspaper," Rule said. "Now that we are receiving more requests for home delivery we feel the time is right to increase the press run."

If you live within a gated community and would like to receive the Simi Valley Acorn we need an authorization letter from the HOA or management company with the number of homes and the gate code.

For more information or distribution questions please call (805) 367-8232.
