If other bars are staying open past midnight, Yankee Doodles should too

What's going on with Yankee Doodles doesn't seem fair.

The restaurant on the hill of Stow Street is open way past midnight, and they have their music up loud.

The police say they have a permit to have their music up that loud, and we are residents right below them and can hear them.

Our apartment building is in the Indian Oaks apartments. I'm sure they serve liquor past 11 p.m.

Even though we want the music turned down there is nothing we can do about it because they have a permit. The way I see it, if they can have a permit, then Yankee Doodles should be allowed to. Why should we suffer alone? Barbara Ungewitter Carrell Simi Valley
