Car wash to benefit Corriganville
Proceeds will go toward revamping signs at the historic Simi park

The Simi Valley Leadership Class of 2007 is sponsoring a car wash from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Simi Valley Ford, 2440 First St.

A donation of $10 per vehicle will go toward refurbishing the trail signs at Corriganville Park.

Opportunity basket tickets will be available at the event for $1 each or $5 for six.

The drawing will be at 2 p.m., but participants do not need to be present to win. Theme baskets include agedefying Dead Sea Scroll products, Tool Time, Father's Day, coffee basket, book basket and more.

Leadership Simi Valley is a program sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce that is designed to identify, develop and prepare individuals for future leadership positions.

Class members agree on a group project that benefits the community. The 2007 class chose Corriganville Park since the park has a rich history that has been underutilized by the community.
