Rotarians tee off for upcoming charity golf tournament

The Rotary Club of Simi Valley (noontime club) will host its 30th annual Charity Golf Tournament on April 27 at a new venue, the Tierra Rejada Golf Club, 15187 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark.

The tournament will kick off with lunch at 11 a.m., shotgun start at noon, and dinner and live auction at 6 p.m.

Sponsors are needed for the tournament. Available levels are $2,000 Major, $1,000 Eagle, $350 Birdie and $150 tee signs. Auction items are needed for the live and silent auctions and raffle.

Entry fees for golfers are $150 per player or $600 for a foursome. The fee includes lunch, dinner, golf cart, green fees and special gift package.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit a number of local Simi Valley charities, including Simi Valley Family YMCA, Care and Share, the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Association, American Cancer Society and the Samaritan Center.
