Fault in dirt-bike accident does not lie with the property owner

I was saddened to hear about the death of Jake Lucas.

I hope this family can survive this tragedy, even though this loss may never truly heal.

As a parent of two children, I couldn't imagine the horror of losing one of them.

But as a motorcycle rider myself, I also couldn't imagine ever giving them their own motorcycle, and then letting them ride unsupervised.

As far as "unanswered questions" that the parents have regarding property lines and types of fences, I think those questions have only one, tragic answer, and it does not lie with the property owner. Marc Atkinson Simi Valley
