Chamber stands behind city's anti-peddling ordinance

The Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce supports appropriate levels of local regulation of all business activity in order to promote fair business practices, ensure capture of business tax receipts by the city for benefit of all local residents and businesses, ensure safe and environmentally compliant business practices and ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

With these goals in mind the Chamber supports regulation of street vendors in order to ensure that these businesses operate in the manner expected of all businesses, regardless of their size or method of business operation.
