Popular home ownership class adds another session in Simi

Due to demand, the Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura has expanded its winter schedule of free educational classes on home ownership to include an additional class in Simi Valley from 7:15 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 1 at the Simi Valley Library.

The class will address tax advantages of home ownership, programs available for financing for a firsttime buyer, and raising and maintaining a high FICO score. The seminar is educational only, and no sales are involved.
