All-female gym reopening under new ownership

Contours Express will reopen its doors under new ownership on Monday, Jan. 22.

The all-women circuit training gym features customized weight-bearing workshops and "29-minute workouts."

Throughout opening week the club will provide grand reopening specials, the WOW individual workout program and scheduled support group for weight loss and health concerns.

Club equipment is designed to fit the contour of a woman's physique.

"Women are attracted to Contours Express because we offer positive and negative resistance strengthtraining machines to help build bone density and prevent osteoporosis, as opposed to the hydraulic equipment provided at most other centers," said Mira Khany, club owner.

The club is offering free trial workouts to women in Simi Valley.

Contours Express is at 2311 Tapo St., Simi Valley.
