Simi baseball team earns Super Series title

BIG WINNERS- The Simi Valley Terror won the championship game against the Arizona Desert Dragons, 13-0, to win the U-9 Division at the Super Series Winter National Championship in Phoenix, Ariz. Nicholas Kahle was named Offensive MVP. The squad is managed by Andrew Hodgins. The kids from Simi Valley enjoyed opening ceremonies at the spring training complex for the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners, trading their custom pins with players from 170 teams from around the nation. Players were rewarded with a team trophy, individual medals, national champion hats and uniform patches as well as Super Series Baseball custom watches.
