Motivational speaker to address 4 area schools

The Simi Valley Youth Council and the Simi Valley Education Foundation have teamed up to present a motivational speaker series for all Simi public high school students.

The speaker, Patrick Maurer, will highlight the messages of

overcoming the challenges of life, dealing with stress and way to build self-confidence.

The schedule is as follows: Royal, Tuesday, Jan. 9; Apollo, Wednesday, Jan. 10; Simi Valley, Thursday, Jan. 11; and Santa Susana, Friday, Jan. 12.
