Affordable housing for farm and service workers to be discussed

A presentation and discussion about affordable housing in Ventura County will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5

n the Meeting Room at Esseff Village in Thousand Oaks.

The address is 1423 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., across from Gold Coast Plaza.

Join the American Association of University Women and a panel

of speakers to see the short documentary film "Mi Casa es Su Casa" about affordable housing in Ventura County.

It will be followed by a discussion of low-cost housing issues and housing for farm and service workers in Ventura County.

Speakers scheduled to participate include Jessica Arciniega, coordinator of House Farm Workers;

Vanessa Frank Garcia, attorney for California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc.; and Rick Schroeder, executive director of Many Mansions.

Refreshments will be served.
