Samantha Fischer, a senior shortstop for the Simi Valley High softball team, recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play for Loyola Marymount University next fall.

During her junior campaign with the Pioneers, Fischer hit a team-leading .419 with six home runs and 30 RBI. She only struck out 14 times in 96 plate appearances.
