Simi Valley Friends of the Family will present Family Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 at the library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road. The event is free.

Children's author Amada Irma Perez, and author and recording artist Jose-Luis Orozco will be present to autograph their books.

Activities include local elementary school principals reading stories, children's crafts and book sales.
