Relax during interviews
      At the recent USC counselor conference, we read applications submitted by last year's freshmen hopefuls. One of the files included a report written by an interviewer, who described the prospective student as "boring." It was jarring to see a respected admissions officer label this student a dud.

University offers four-year degrees locally
      The University of La Verne and Moorpark College are offering a program that will allow students to complete a bachelor's degree without leaving the Moorpark campus. Through the newly established University of La Verne at Moorpark College program, students may attain bachelor's degrees in business administration, child development and liberal studies.
