Mayor should bill the developers while he's at it
      I support the mayor's plan to bill for police services relating to the Simi Valley church that chose to harbor an illegal immigrant.

Stop assuming the worst about kids
      The one thing in Deborah Bassham Bucci's letter of Oct 19 that I do agree with is that there is a serious situation in Simi Valley. The problem is that we have people like her that want us to lock our children in our homes so she does not have to see them.

      This letter is in response to the negative reaction toward the Sinaloa Park Project. You must remember to look at the positive aspects this project will bring. I am a regular golfer at Sinaloa, and I think this project is a great idea.

Sinaloa expansion not a good use of tax dollars
      In reading that Simi Valley would be reduced to two public golf courses, I was excited to see that $925,000 would be used to expand the existing family friendly Sinaloa Golf Course. The manner in which the article was written led me to believe that the funds would go to expanding the golf course from 25 acres to 38 acres.

Acorn shouldn't have reiterated pastor's lies
      I was at the rally on Oct. 14 protesting illegal immigration and the illegal harboring of Liliana here illegally. I am very upset over your paper printing the lie about our group regurgitated by Pastor Goudey. Not once was there any words spoken in reference toward race or discrimination.

Better traffic enforcement is badly needed in 'The Bluffs'
      In light of the most recent traffic accident in The Bluffs development this past Saturday, Oct. 20, I am curious about a few things. When will the Simi Valley PD begin to actively patrol and enforce the speed limit on Erringer Road coming into and out of the development?
