SVUSD records slight enrollment dip to start year

Local grad receives high honor at CLU
      Katherine Snyder, a biochemistry major from Simi Valley, was recently inducted into the Scholastic Honor Society at California Lutheran University. Membership is limited to the top 5 percent of each graduating class, and students must maintain the highest standards in their work throughout their academic careers to be considered.

New teachers welcomed to staff at St. Rose
      St. Rose of Lima School welcomed four new teachers this year. Maureen Frank will teach first grade. She taught nutrition classes for six years at Moorpark College. Frank has her teaching credential from California Lutheran University.
