Organization hosts Day of Remembrance
      The Ventura County Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children Inc. will host a National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25 at Plaza Park between "B" and Fifth streets in Oxnard.

The barn party is the YMCA's largest fundraiser of the year and includes casino games, food, raffles and the "Bail and Jail," in which, for a small donation, guests can have the person of their choice "jailed" in a cardboard jail cell.
