Team bowls for Humanity

IRIS SMOOT/Acorn Newspapers BOWL-A-THON- Simi Valley  resident  Margaret  Joyce,  of  the  all-female  senior  bowling team Fearsome Foursome, leans into her shot at the Brunswick bowling lanes during the Simi Valley/ Moorpark Association of Realtors Bowl-a-thon for Habitat for Humanity on Thursday in Simi Valley. Nine dollars of the cover cost of $15 per player for three games and shoes goes to help Habitat for Humanity build a house for low-income families on the southeast corner of Sequoia and Royal avenues. The intersection will eventually be home to three Habitat for Humanity houses and a park.
