Taste of Camarillo turns 20 this weekend

Meadowlark Service League will present "A Taste of Camarillo," the 20th annual wine and food festival, from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 29 at Camarillo Ranch, 201 Camarillo Ranch Road, Camarillo.

The festival will feature more than 100 varieties of wine, beer, ciders, and food from more than 50 local restaurants, a silent auction, opportunity drawings and live music by Jeanne Tatum and Company with special guest Ira Nepus, and Bryan McCann and the Grooveheads.

A live wine auction gala will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 28 at the ranch and will include a reserve and rare wine auction, wines to taste, hors d'oeuvres and music by Aloft.

Dress is elegant casual with jackets and sweaters for warmth. Seating is limited; early reservations are recommended.

Tickets for the Sunday event are $65 in advance and $75 at the door. They are available in Camarillo from Bank of America, 5800 Santa Rosa Road; Cousins Wine Tasting, 2390 Las Posas Road; Las Posas Emporium, 528 N. Las Posas Road; J.J. Brewsky's, 2433 E. Ventura Blvd; and in Thousand Oaks from Sur La Table, 4050 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Tickets for the Saturday auction are $50. A weekend pass for both events is $100.
