Kudos to resident who wrote letter defending Simi PD
      First of all, I would like to say that the Acorn has turned out to be a very good local weekly newspaper for Simi Valley residents who choose to read the Acorn instead of just throwing it away. I'm also glad to see that this periodical seems to actually be doing well and growing. Keep up the good work!

Are police officers conditioned to be prejudiced?
      This is in response to Dave Willard's letter in the Simi Valley Acorn dated June 8, 2007. A few hours ago I finished reading "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell. There is a statement in Willard's letter that is simply not true and is taken for granted too many times.
