Area business creates meals to fit your fitness program
"The Extreme Fitness Meal Program" is available through Supper Thyme USA of Thousand Oaks. The program is designed to help individuals eat healthfully while participating in a comprehensive wellness program.
With a focus on total wellness, the program features 10 meals that are nutritionally balanced, delicious and affordable. Designed by Supper Thyme USA's corporate chef Kelly Digby, the meals are based on the food guide pyramid with an emphasis on eating a wide variety of foods from the five major food groups.
Meals change monthly, and meals for this month include a variety of poultry, seafood, pork and vegetarian entrees at a cost of $119, with each meal including three servings.
The cost per serving is about $4, making it a wholesome and cost effective option for healthy dining.
The meals are "homemade" by the Supper Thyme USA staff and available for pick up.
