Another opinion on Faith columnist's view of Jesus
Mr. Buchler seems upset by the columns in your paper by Dr. Jones.
I am not a member of his church but have been involved with its philosophy for several years.
Ernest Holmes, who founded this philosophy, didn't really intend for it to become a church, but something that any person could incorporate into their belief system.
Jesus taught by example and with parables and said all this and more you can do.
Traditional churches ask that we take Jesus into our hearts.
When we do this, are we not embodying Jesus who is God, thus making us also part of God, therefore sons of God?
Isn't the idea of Christians to do as Jesus did? Spread joy, love, peace and truth?
By their works you shall know them. Elizabeth Friend Simi Valley
